NEVBD Awarded as New Teaching & Evaluation Center!
We are excited to announce that our collaborative team has received funding as a new Training and Evaluation Center (TEC) for the Prevention and Control of Vector-Borne Diseases! The new TECs are supported through the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Division of Vector-Borne Diseases, and are focused on training, evaluation of programs, and strengthening of partnerships in the prevention and control of vector-borne diseases!

The TickApp is a smartphone app for people living in high-risk areas for Lyme disease, supported through our partners at Columbia University and the Midwest Center of Excellence in Vector-Borne Diseases. Check out this app and learn more about how you can participate in our tick exposure behavioral study! Program now able to collaborate with local health agencies on passive surveillance.
